Alexander Dretvic

Hey, I’m Alexander :)

I am 22 years old, grew up in Plochingen, and am currently in my third year of training as an IT specialist for application development. During this time, I have already contributed to several websites and am increasingly taking on responsibility for front-end development and CMS integrations. Communication, teamwork, and respectful interaction are essential skills for me in this context.

I am particularly drawn to the development of modern and complex front-ends, as I am convinced that almost any concept can be technically implemented. I am well aware that a good front-end is of little value without the right backend integration, SEO, accessibility, and performance.

My experience:

In my previous projects, I have already developed many components in TYPO3 (HTML, SCSS, JS). Currently, I am focusing more on the headless system Directus in conjunction with Next.js (React, TS, Tailwind) and Storybook. I am also familiar with working with APIs.

My focus:

I tackle challenging projects with a commitment to high quality. That’s exactly why my curiosity drives me to constantly look beyond the front end—especially into the areas of backend development and e-commerce systems.

My preference for taking matters into my own hands is evident right here: I configured the hosting and setup for this portfolio entirely on my own. I am highly motivated to learn new technologies and grow through new challenges.
